I know I keep promising that we are coming back but please believe me it will indeed happen.
I wanted to let everyone know about a Facebook book we have recently made. It is called "Friends of the Stars Hollow Podcast"
I made a promise with meself when I started Facebooking that I would only take friend requests from people I have met face to face so sorry if I had to ignore some requests but I thought that this would be a great way for us all to commune and keep a town feel going.

Not sure if it is the impending birthday this week or what but it looks like Cara's lucky streak being healthy has ended. She is down right now and I am not sure we will get a show out for last weeks GG but hopefully later in the week she will be up to doing a show. So this weekend Cara, Elijah and I went to a Fall Festival in a small North Wisconsin town. Well at this festival on the last day they fly a couple of helicopters over the main street and they drop Ping Pong Balls. Some have prizes on them so people scramble like little children at the foot of a pinata. It is amazing and I giggled like a school girl. To watch click here
A little sick after a great weekend. I can't believe cold season is starting already. There will be a slight delay with shows this week. Sorry for no show this week we have been insanely busy. The summer for us is much busier than the school year. We planned on getting a show out this last weekend but I lost my voice and it still hasn't come back. I think it is just a cold. This week though we have a camping trip at a music festival with our youth group kids so I think it will be another week or so. Sorry for the delay but life does get you busy sometimes.

So you could ask yourself "Self, where in the world is the newest episode of the Stars Hollow Podcast?" To which you would reply "Well Self I would think that there must be something wrong since Jon and Cara usually aren't this late." Then one of you would get mad at the other for talking to the wall and it would erupt into a bizarre fistfight. Then others would laugh at you and point but here my friends is the deal.
We need a week off.
Yep I know that sounds painfully ridiculous but we haven't really voluntarily missed a week since Friday October 21st 2005 and this is a good week to do it.
Cara's Sister is visiting from Oregon (Which people pronounce here as "Oro Gone") and they just need the time to giggle and be girls. I on the other hand will be hiding in the bedroom watching DVD's from the library until the giggling stops.
So I talked with the amazing Cara and we decided that since Cara's Sister leaves on Thursday we should be able to do a show on Friday and you should have it on the weekend.
So there's the plan and let's hope it all works out that way but keep that a feedback a comin and we will talk about Season 1 Episode 3 on the next show.
Oh and also don't forget about your contest submissions. Remember design a T Shirt (doesn't have to be a Stars Hollow T Shirt per se just a shirt that has some significance to our little community) and send us your design ideas NO LATER THAN JULY 4th!!! That last bit I neglected to mention on the last show but there is your deadline and the winner will again receive a BRAND NEW SENSEO MACHINE!
So look for a new show later this week and keep the feedback and if you get lonely just take the rest of the week and listen to our previous 39 episodes and by the time you are done you will have entered a whole different dimension where green means stop and red means go and Celine Dion is the lead for a punk outfit.

Hey gang. Cara's birthday is on the 23rd of February so I wanted to do a little surprise for her and I need your help. If you are interested I want to do a little Happy Birthday song with you all. There have been a few people asking if they could donate some money to help the podcast get back on it's feet and of course we would never want anyone to feel as though they have to but if you feel led and want to help then I have added a donate button on the right. Again please please please do not give unless you absolutely want to we are just thrilled that you want us back anyways. I hesitated putting one up but again some of you have asked for a way to help so here it is. We have been so happy to see all of you discussing the show on the forums and emailing us. Stars Hollow Podcast Episode #3 is about the Episode entitled "Let Me Hear Your Balalaikas Ringing Out" which originally aired November 8th 2005 in the U.S.
Tonight we recorded a little earlier so we are a tad bit more coherent. Man what a great Gilmore Girls this week Jess is back (maybe just briefly), Logan is a Butt Nugget, Rory told off Grandma and Psycho Soccer Girls scare Luke.
We were trying out a new audio set up tonight so there may be a few bugs but thanks for looking past it all.

First download itunes (it's free) by clicking here. After downloading it then open it up. Now see that line on the right side of this page here that says "Subscribe to Stars Hollow"? Well click it. Now that should take you to another page. Click on the button that says "Subscribe with Yahoo! Music engine/itunes".
That should bring a pop up. Click on open with itunes.
It's that simple. Now if you ever want to hear the podcast you just open up itunes. You are fully subscribed. Wow could it be any easier?
Well the easiest way is to use itunes or the program called ipodder which will allow you to get our show automatically for free every time we post an episode. For a more indepth explanation of what I am talking about click here.
If you don't want to bother with that then just go to the post of the episode that you want to listen to and click on the number of the episode in the post. For example to listen to Episode #0 then just go to the post and click on the "#0". It should be the one underlined and pink (Cara chose the color).
